Fall Foilage in the Rockies

by whitmers on September 30, 2009

One of our favorite destinations for scenic and nature photography is the Colorado Rocky Mountains, and that’s where we currently are. The golden glow of the aspen trees is such a beautiful subject for us. Each new turn in the road or path presents another splash of color and visual interest for a photo perspective.

Mary & Jim,
Your photos are, as always, fabulous. I doubt that anyone could do a better job of bringing out our Creator’s beautiful handiwork, and your work glorifies Him by making these beautiful, inspiring pictures available to so many.
I am proud to have you as my sister, though there are times I’m a little envious of your phenomenal success and wished I had tried harder earlier in my life to get more into travel photography. But now you are doing it for us and we are happy for you. Besides your own family, many thousands of people and churches have benefited from your images.

Jim: your photos make me homesick. And I mean that in the best possible way.
